The Impact of Financial Risk on Financial Performance of Consumer Services Sector in Sri Lanka

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact financial risk on performance listed consumer services sector in Sri Lanka. It aims uncover effects under operational risk, market liquidity and credit return equity which measurement for period 2011–2020 from 32 service companies Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE).This used a quantitative research approach, secondary data were collected published audited annual report over ten years (2011–2020). algorithms contained Stata version 14.2 was evaluate hypotheses using fixed effect regression model panel analysis. study's outcome accepted three while rejecting one. concluded that have positive statistically significant impact, has negative significant. Further, it revealed insignificant performance. following will enable firms understand examine due its unique nature, would help increase shareholders’ wealth maximization. findings demonstrate statistical significance, may aid policymakers industry experts intervening developing policies regulations.
